The project opens up a dialogue between young and upcoming writers from Bremen and Kampala. Throughout the month of January they will discuss the differences and similarities in their approaches on storytelling and living as writers in urban societies. Meet the writers Deborah Asiimwe, Ronald Ssegujja and Nyana Kakoma from Kampala and Nikolas Hoppe, Nora Bossong and Jens Laloire from Bremen! Follow their round table discussion on Google Hangouts where the writers introduce themselves. The project was launched by the Bremer Literaturkontor and the virtual Literaturhaus Bremen and emerged in cooperation with the Goethe-Zentrum Kampala, Bremen University, and Makerere University. The project was made possible through the TURN funding of the German Federal Cultural Foundation, the Bernd und Eva Hockemeyer Stiftung and the Senator für Kultur Bremen.
